We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the Tawreedat Go customer application. A separate policy applies to couriers.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, phone number, email address, and account credentials.
• Delivery addresses — the addresses you save, including the map point and any directions you add for the courier.
• Order information — the items you order, order history, prices, and communications with support about an order.
• Payment information — your chosen payment method and wallet transactions. Card details are entered with our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Device information — device model, operating system, application version, and a push notification token.
• Usage data — how you interact with the application, including searches, and pages and products you view.
• Location data — as described in Section 2.

2. Location Data

We use your device location to show suppliers that deliver to where you are, to calculate delivery distance and fees, and to help you set a delivery address accurately on the map.

The customer application collects location only while you are using it. It does not collect your location in the background, and it does not collect your location when the application is closed. Granting location access is optional — you can decline or withdraw it at any time in your device settings and continue to use the application by entering your address manually.

While an order is being delivered, the application shows you the courier's live position for that order. This is the courier's location shared with you, not yours.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to create and manage your account; to process, deliver, and track your orders; to take payment and manage your wallet, points, and coupons; to send order updates and service notifications; to provide customer support and handle refunds and disputes; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; to improve and personalize the service; and to comply with legal obligations.

We send you order-related notifications as part of the service. Marketing messages are sent only where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time in the application or through your device notification settings.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:

• With the supplier of your order — the items ordered and the information needed to prepare and hand over the order.
• With the courier delivering your order — your first name, delivery address and map point, phone number, and any delivery notes, for that order only. Couriers are contractually required to use this information solely to complete the delivery and not to retain or reuse it afterwards.
• With service providers — hosting, payment, mapping, push notification, and communication providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Where required by law — to comply with a legal obligation, a court order, or a lawful request from an authority, or to establish or defend legal claims.
• On a business transfer — if the business or part of it is transferred, your data may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

5. Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. Card numbers are entered directly with that provider and are not stored on our systems; we retain only the transaction result and a masked reference needed for receipts, refunds, and dispute handling.

6. Data Protection

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Data is transmitted over secure connections, credentials are stored in encrypted device storage, and access to personal data within our systems is limited to staff who need it for their role. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order, payment, and refund records are retained after that for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and consumer protection law. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized. Deleting your account does not remove records we are legally required to keep.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information in accordance with applicable law, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy of the data you provided, and to withdraw consent at any time — including for location access and marketing messages. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can update most of your information directly in the application; for anything else, or to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using Section 12.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website and in-application content to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze usage so we can improve the service. You can manage these through your browser or device settings; disabling some of them may affect how the service works.

10. Children's Privacy

The application is intended for users aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you through the application. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
